Ok, so not all Doctors are against supplements, but recent events in Australia demonstrate that the AMA, the peak body for Doctors, is against them!

The story is that Blackmore’s, one of the mainstream vitamin companies has developed software that will flag relevant supplements when prescriptions are presented at the Pharmacy. It is a way for them to sell more products – products that lessen the side effects of pharmaceuticals.

You can imagine the stir this has caused. Everyone sees Blackmore getting an unfair advantage at the cash register. This sort of situation flushes out all the vested interests.

First, the Doctors often recommend specific brands when prescribing drugs. How come they object to specific brands of supplements? Next is the old adage that supplements are totally unnecessary as we can get everything we need from food. Over the last 14 years I have seen many, many people benefit from whole food supplementation, so I can only conclude these Doctors are either brainwashed, or just plain ignorant.

The AMA says there is not enough evidence to support supplementation. They say too many vitamins are bad for you. They say nothing about the dangers of drugs! Where do they get these ideas?

Enter Big Pharma

This is one of the largest industry segments in the world, and for those of you who have read my material before know, work hand in hand with the food industry. They would like you to take their drugs for the rest of your life! Unfortunately that life will be considerably shortened and with lower quality of life if you follow what they say. A simple hair analysis or blood test will reveal that many people are deficient in certain vitamins and minerals despite eating well. This is caused by excess toxins and nutrient deficient food. Vitamins prescribed by health professionals are often artificial and it is these that have proven adverse effects.

There is another reason Doctors aren’t favourably disposed to supplements. Most medical schools are funded by derivatives of the Pharmaceutical giants, as is Doctor’s ongoing education. The Doctors are taught this over and over by their peers and mentors. It is not their fault, it is the system they live in.

Further, if a Doctor prescribes or recommends something other than a drug, they can be removed from the medical register. This has happened in Australia and elsewhere. Some famous cases are Dr William McBride who delivered my wife, and blew the lid on Thalidomide, which caused numerous deformities in infants. Dr Andrew Wakefield has been a champion against vaccination. Dr Ian Raddatz suggested that Glyuconutrients might help the body work better. All of these have been disbarred for their efforts.

What You Can Do.

There are many supplementary technologies that can improve your health and vitality. From my perspective, it is basically a matter of removing what shouldn’t be in your body and adding back what is missing from whole food sources.

You can get a hair/mineral analysis from Interclinical laboratories in Sydney. Phone (02) 9693 2888 or find them at their web site http://www.interclinical.com.au Look up hair analysis on google outside Australia.

This will tell you what you are deficient in, and what foreign stuff you have in your body. You can send it to me, and I will get a recommendation of supplements to get your body back into balance.

We are not talking about diagnosing or treating diseases here, simply allowing your body to work its healing magic.

I trust this has been informative. The medical system can help in many cases, but we are better off looking after our own bodies and avoiding medication as much as possible.

OK, Cancer is now the leading cause of death, at least in Australia. According to the cancer council, one in 2 Australians will die from Cancer by age 85, so Cancer prevention is probably something we should be thinking about. In this article you will understand why Activated Liquid Zeolite is the number one logical strategy for cancer prevention, and information on a number of other ways to prevent cancer.

I know this is an emotive subject, and there are a lot of so called “cures” on the market. The reason for this is simply the medical system’s inadequate response to treatment.

Cancer Survival Rates.

These figures are taken from the Garvin Institute, known as the premiere Medical Research Institute in Australia. This organization even gets funding from the National Institutes of Health in the USA. Here are a few cancers that medicine has a bad track record with.

Mesothelioma 4%, Pacreatic Cancer 7%, Lung cancer 14%, Liver Cancer 16%, Brain Cancer 20% Oesophagus Cancer 20%. The ones with the best 5 year survival rate are Breast Cancer 88%, Prostate Cancer 88%, Melanoma 90%, and Lip Cancer 91%

Clearly if you problems are in the lung, pancreas, Liver or Brain you are in big trouble!

What Causes Cancer?

This begins with a single cell. We have about 60 trillion of them in our bodies. A healthy cell is strong and resistant to invaders that would mutate, or alter its structure. Some of us have genetics that produce weakened cells, but even so, cells are mostly compromised by the presence of foreign toxic material that penetrates the cells and causes DNA damage.

Under normal circumstances we have natural killer cells floating around the body. They are directed by our immune system to seek and destroy any mutant cells. So the idea is that they are kept under control.

Human cells consist of a core, membrane and cell receptors, the means by which they communicate their needs. Various microscopic particles attach to receptors providing cleansing, nutrients, etc. The means of communication are glyconutrients, of which there are 8 main ones.

Cancer occurs when these cell receptors are blocked by toxins that bind tightly and interrupt normal communication. All cells replicate and when damaged cells are allowed to replicate, eventually a tumor appears. These can take years to form, and are diagnosed as cancer only when they reach an advanced stage.

The Proof – Toxins cause Cancer

The following diagram is a list of toxins that cause cancer where they are at elevated levels. Note that Lead, Arsenic, Uranium, Radiation, and Benzene are amongst these. Pesticides, used on most fresh food, are the major cause of cancer clusters.

This figure comes from a government agency, the National Institute Of Environmental Health Sciences in the USA.

Toxins And Heavy Metals Cause Cancer

Cure Or Prevention

Now the statistics say half of us will die from cancer. They also give us a chance of surviving 5 years or more after Breast or Prostate Cancer with treatment. On the surface this looks good, but let’s dig deeper.

There is a reason that survival rates from lung, liver and brain cancer are so low. They are often secondary cancers. Often one is treated for Breast or Prostate cancer, for instance, and the treatment is pronounced effective. Unfortunately, often a new cancer magically appears in the lung, liver or brain, possible as a result of treatment. An example is Cyclophosphamine, a common Chemotherapy Drug which has 100% of patients contracting Leukemia within 10 years.

Now, obviously, if you are diagnosed with cancer, you will want to do everything you can to keep it under control, as the end result is something you can’t change! Many medical answers are simply designed to keep us breathing longer, but can result in diminished lifestyle, and considerable pain. The final stages are palliative care, or pain control as our bodies wither away.

Cancer Prevention

OK, now for the good news. There is ample evidence that cancer can be caused by toxins. For instance smoking provides Cadmium to the body and that is directly linked to Lung cancer. Clearly it makes sense to remove the toxins from the body, before they damage our DNA. The second major factor is that disease can thrive in an acidic environment, so raising pH or making the body more alkaline will help.

Oxygenation

One theory is to add extra oxygen to the system. Using Bicarb of soda, it is possible to rapidly alkalinize the body. A Queensland Doctor, Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan was recently suspended for administering this treatment plus MMS to one of her patients who requested it. Recently the largest distributor of MMS was raided by the FDA and had all stock confiscated. Oxy E is another supplement that raises Oxygen levels, increasing pH. Again the idea is to flood the body with Oxygen and starve out cancer cells. These products are difficult to get in Australia due to health authority activities. Furthermore, Bi Carb often contains the heavy metal Aluminium, so we need a pure source.

Removing Toxins

I think we have demonstrated that toxins play a major role in Cancer. Cancer clusters around areas where certain toxins are present is irrefutable proof of this. This being the case, wouldn’t it make sense to remove the toxins from the cells, if this was even possible? It may even prevent the possibility of a range of other life threatening or debilitating diseases.

Elimination Regimes

Most elimination programs rely on toxins being expelled through the colon, liver or skin. Basically, we stimulate the body by saunas, adding foot patches, or cleansing the colon to flush out material. These are definitely beneficial, but they don’t’ get to the cells. Only very small particles get into the blood stream, and in order to absorb toxins and grab them off the cell receptors, they need to have a negative charge, something very few products have. This is the reason Zeolites are so effective.

Cellular Toxin Removal

For Zeolites to enter the blood stream, they must be reduced to a particle size of less than 2.5 micron. In addition, the elimination of toxins trapped in the raw Zeolite will greatly enhance its absorption capacity. One product above all, meets these requirements. It is cleaned and micronized to an average particle size of 1 micron. This means effectively that 1 gram of this substance has the surface area of a football field, so you can imagine how many toxins it soaks up in the body.

The second major benefit of Zeolite is that it captures toxins from cell receptors and stores them inside the Zeolite particle, eliminating the possibility of kidney or liver damage during excretion. This sets it apart from other products that can penetrate the blood stream.

The third aspect of Zeolite is that because it is negatively charged, it tends to reduce acidity, leaving an environment much less susceptible to the spread of disease.

A published study* demonstrates clearly that there is an increase of excretion of toxins when this product is taken, and that there are no visible side effects. Simply put, it removes the toxins, leaving the immune system to do its job unhindered.

Conclusion

Cancer is of concern to all of us, with 50% of Australians destined to die from it before age 85. There is evidence that toxins cause cancer as areas where toxicity is high, certain cancers occur in larger proportion. Secondary cancer, which can occur as a result of treatment, or after a cure has been declared, are almost always fatal.

You can reduce your risk of cancer by oxygenizing the body, and removing toxins. There are many strategies for improving Oxygen supply, but right now, Activated Liquid Zeolite is the most effective way to remove toxins from the cells. It is why I take this every day, and why I recommend it to anyone who plans to be on this earth for a long time!

The colon is a sewerage system, but by neglect and abuse it becomes a cesspool. When it is clean and normal we are well and happy. Let it stagnate, and it will distil the poisons of decay, fermentation and putrefaction into the blood, poisoning the brain and nervous system so that we become mentally depressed and irritable, it will poison the heart so that we are weak and listless, poison’s the lungs so that the breath is foul, poison’s the digestive organs so that we are distressed and bloated, and poison’s the blood so that the skin is sallow and unhealthy. In short, every organ of the body is poisoned, and we age prematurely, look and feel old, the joints are still and painful, neuritis, dull eyes and a sluggish brain overtake us, the pleasure of living is gone.

The following information should impress you with the vital importance of bowel regularity to you and every member of your family.

Extract from “Young Again! How To Reverse The Aging Process” by John Thomas

“Both fat and skinny people hold large amounts of mucoid matter in their colon. I often hear people say, “Oh! I don’t need colon therapy! I go two or three times a day!” Regularity is NOT a reliable yardstick here. Mucoid lining build up begins as early as age six”.

“When the most popular cowboy in movie history died (his name was John…) over seventy (70) pounds of mucoid matter was removed from his colon upon autopsy. The odour was beyond description. The great actor’s transverse colon, the part that hangs over men’s belt line, was almost 12 inches in diameter. Yet the lumen (opening) through which his waste flowed was only 1 inch in diameter. The difference was accumulated mucoid matter, toxins and drugs. A “healthy” colon should be about two inches in total diameter”.

“When you see a person’s belly hanging over the belt line, or filling a women’s pelvic area, you are seeing a VERY engorged and prolapsed (i.e sagging) colon.”

Extract from “Tissue Cleansing through Bowel Management” by Bernard Jenson, D.C., Ph.D., Nutritionist.

“When the bowel is that dirty, it can harbour an amazing variety of very harmful bacteria and parasites. It’s interesting to note that worms outrank cancer as man’s deadliest enemy on a worldwide basis. It is estimated that 200 million people worldwide are infected by these intestinal parasites”.

“These worms range in size from microscopic single-celled animals to 20 foot long tapeworms. These parasites kill more people annually than cancer. One in four people in the world today are infected by roundworms”

“The need for bowel sanitation and cleanliness has been sadly neglected for sometime now. A bowel movement every two or three days is considered normal and acceptable. We of the holistic professions know better. Our experiences prove beyond doubt that poor bowel condition is the source for many, many disorders in the body. Recently, medical researchers in African countries have had a first-hand opportunity to verify these beliefs”.

“Both British and South African medical scientists strongly insist that what is usually referred to as “regularity” may be a matter of life and death. An insufficient number of bowel movements, and too little fibre and bulk in the faeces may often explain the existence of gall bladder disorders, heart problems, varicose veins, appendicitis, clotting in deep veins, hiatal hernia, diverticulitis, arthritis and cancer of the colon. This complete turn-around in medical orientation comes from top-notch surgeons and biochemists”.

“In less than a century, there has occurred an incredible increase in certain diseases which these researchers have attempted to explain by comparing Africans living under tribal conditions to people living under the conditions of western countries”.

“Their research indicates that the increases in disease rates in Westerners were caused by changes occurring in the food make-up that reaches the large bowel. In former times, ingested food was much coarser and contained more bulk and indigestible fibre. The processing of foods today makes them mushy, soft, fibreless and bulk-less”.

“These researchers claim that this situation is having a detrimental effect upon the American and British health. In England, Africa and India, experiments were conducted to compare eating habits, foods and bowel waste products. These studies indicated that people living under primitive conditions on diets high in indigestible fibre passed from 2 to 4 times more faeces as those in the western countries, and these people were found to be relatively free from most of the diseases studied”.

Extracts from “Health In The 21st Century, Will Doctors Survive” Dr Contreras, M.D It should be noted that Dr Contreras specialises in oncology surgery and actively oversees more than 600 patients with cancer each year.

“There is no secret that there are ethnic groups who rarely experience disease, and who boast impressive life expectancy, from the Himalayans, to tribes in Central and South America. Although their eating habits are very different, all live a long time and seldom ill. What’s their secret?”.

Research groups like H.S Goldsmith (Lancet, 1975) and Reddy and Wynder (Journal of the National Health Institutes, 1975) reported that “Westerners produce small amounts of faeces every 24 to 48 hours, and that their stools are hard, segmented, frequently painful and difficult to excrete. On the other hand, eaters of primitive diets eliminate three times as much waste with soft and voluminous faeces that are easy to excrete. Westerners excrete the remains of food eaten two days earlier, while groups like the Hunza report a maximum intestinal transit time of ten hours. The danger of constipation is highly underestimated.

British experts like J.Yuddin from London in 1972 (and later in 1974), and T.L. Clave from Bistol, reported high incidence of cancer in people from the modern Western world because of diets rich in fats and refined foods. Later, Wilkins and Hackman publised (Cancer Research 1974) similar findings in Americans. Their faeces contained elevated quantities of nitrogen, fat, cholesterol, biliary acids, and a high concentration of carcinogenic metabolites. Renowned epidemiologist Martin Lipkin published in Cancer magazine that groups of Africans, South Americans and Japanese, living in rural ares who eat primitive diets consisting of mainly vegetable, fruits and grains rich in fibre and seldom animal products, have almost no risk of ever developing cancer. These claims are corroborated by the reports of Kian Liu (Lancet, 1979) and E.L Wynder (Cancer, 1979) who indicated that for every 100,000 inhabitants in the United States, 109 die of colon cancer, but only 4 every 100,000 in Uganda. This is a quantitative difference between the modern hi-tech diet and a fibre-rich diet.

Dr.Adlercreutz, in his article “Diet, Mammary Cancer and Metabolism of the Sex Hormone,” emphasises that western women enjoy unrestrained consumption of animal proteins and fats, along with refined constipating carbohydrates. This diet not only increases their risk of colon cancer, it substantially increases the production of estrogens. This excessive estrogen, that normally should be eliminated through the stool, is trapped in the colon because of constipation and is easily reabsorbed back into the already unnaturally excessive bloodstream concentration. In contrast, Oriental women and others that adhere to natural unadulterated foods, avoid this deadly vicious cycle because their diets are low in fats, animal protein and refined products. They consume foods high in fibre like fruits, vegetable and grains. Thanks to proper, easy, frequent evacuations, their exposure to hormones is closer to the ideal because of no excess production due to poor diet and no recycling.

But not all estrogens are harmful. There are estrogens both good and bad; the most abundant is 16-hydrxyesterone which damages DNA, causing among other problems, mammary and testicular cancer.

But cancer is only one of the many ailments that estrogens have brought upon women. Menstrual, fertility, ovarian and uterine problems can be listed. German scientists have encountered high blood concentrations of PCB in women with endometriosis, an inflammatory pelvic disease that causes severe pre and menstrual pain, with sterility as one of its major complications. Before the pesticide era, endometriosis was virtually nonexistent. In 1920 only 21 cases had been reported in the whole world. At least five million women presently have endometriosis in the USA alone”

Important Discussion of Alimentary Toxaemia Before The Royal Society Of Medicine Of Great Britain.

Recently, the subject of alimentary toxaemia was discussed in London before the Royal Society of Medicine by fifty-seven of the leading physicians of Great Britain. Among the speakers were eminent surgeons, physicians and specialists in the various branches of medicine.

Poisons of Alimentary Intestinal Toxemia

The following is a list of the various poisons noted by the several speakers: Indol, skarol, phenol, cresol, indican, sulphurretted hydrogen, ammonia, histidine, urrobilin, methylmercaptan, tetramerhy-lendiamin, pentamethy lendiamine, putrescin, cadaverin, neurin, cholin, muscarine, butyric acid, bera-imidazzolethy-lamine, methylgandinine, Ptomarropine, botulin, tyramine, agamatine, tryptophane, sepoin, idolethylamine, sulpherroglobine.

Of the 36 poisons mentioned above, several are highly active, producing most profound effects, and in very small quantities. In the cases of alimentary toxaemia one or several of these poisons is constantly bathing the delicate body cells, and setting up charges which finally result in grave disease.

Symptoms and Disease Due to Alimentary Toxaemia

It should be understood that these findings are not mere theories, but are the result of demonstrations in actual practice by physicians. Of course it is not claimed that alimentary toxaemia is the only cause of all the symptoms and diseases named. Although of many it may well be the sole principal cause, some of them are due to other causes as well. In the following summary the various symptoms and disorders mentioned in the discussion in London, to which reference has been made above, are grouped and classified.

The Digestive Organs

Duodenal ulcer causing partial or complete obstruction of the duodenum; pyloric spasm; pyloric obstruction; distension and dilation of the stomach; gastric ulcer; cancer of the stomach and liver; inflammation of the liver; cancer of the liver.

The muscular wall of the intestine as well as other muscles atrophy, so that the passage of their contents is hindered. The abdominal viscera lose their normal relationship to the spine and to each other, on account of weakening of the abdominal muscles; these displacements are much more marked and serious in women. Other conditions are: catarrh of the intestines; foul gases and smelling stools; colitis; acute enteritis; appendicitis, acute and chronic adhesions and “kinks” of the intestines; visceroptosis (enlargement of the spleen), distended abdomen; tenderness of the abdomen; summer diarrhoea of children; inflammation of pancreas; chronic dragging abdomen pains; gastritis; cancer of the pancreas; inflammatory changes of gall bladder; cancer of gall bladder; gallstones; degeneration of liver; cirrhosis of liver; infection of the gums, and decay of the teeth; ulcers in the mouth and pharynx.

Heart and Blood Vessels

Wasting and weakening of the heart muscles; microbic cyanosis from breaking up of blood cells; fatty degeneration of the heart; endocarditis; subnormal blood pressure; enlargement of the heart, the dilation of the aorta, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, permanent dilation of the arteries.

Dr.W.Bezley says: “There are a few phases of cardiovascular trouble (disease of the heart and blood vessels) with which disorder of some part of the alimentary tract is not causatively associated”.

The Nervous System

Headaches of various kinds: frontal, occipital, temporal, dull or intense, hemicrania and headache of a character to lead to a mistaken diagnosis of brain tumour. Dr Lane tells of a case where a surgeon had proposed an operation for the removal of a tumour from the frontal lobe of the brain, the difficulty was wholly removed by the exclusion of the colon. Acute neuralgia (pains in the legs), neuritis (twitching of the eyes and the muscles of face, arms legs etc) Lassitide (irritability, disturbances of nervous system, varying from simple headaches to absolute collapse), mental and physical depression; insomnia, troubled sleep, unpleasant dreams, unrefreshing sleep (the patient awakening tired), excessive sleepiness (patient falling asleep in the daytime), shivery sensation across lower spinal region, burning sensations in face, hands etc, epileptiformtic, typhoid state, paralysis, chronic fatigue, horror of noises, morbid introspection, perverted moral feelings, melancholia, mania, loss of memory, difficulty of mental concentration, imbecility, insanity, delirium, coma.

The Eyes

Degenerative changes in the eye; inflammation of the lens; inflammation of the optic nerve; hardening of the lens; sclerotits; sclerokeratitis; iritis; iridocyclitis; cataract; recurrent haemorrhage in the retinas; eyes dull and heavy.

The Skin

Formation of wrinkles; thin inelastic; starchy skin; pigmentation of the skin (yellow, brown, slate-black, blue, muddy complexion), offensive secretion from the skin flexures; thickening of the skin; sores and boils; pemphigus; pruritus, herpes; eczema; dermatitis; lupus erythemarosus; acne; rosacrea; cold, clammy extremities, dark circles under the eyes, seborrhoea, psoriasis, pityriasis, alopecia, lichen, planus, jaundice: “An infinitesimal amount of any poison may suffice to cause skin eruption”.

Muscles and Joints

Degeneration of the muscles: “muscles waste and become soft and in advanced cases, tear easily. In young life, the muscular debility produces the deformities which are called dorsal excurvation, or round shoulders, lateral curvature, flat-foot and knock-knee”. Weakens of abdominal muscles causes accumulation of faeces in the pelvic colon, which renders evacuation of contents more and more difficult. Prominence of bones, rheumatic pains simulating sciatic and lumbago, various muscular pains, muscular rheumatism, arthritis deformities, synovitis, rickets, arthritis, acute chronic. Tubercle, and rheumatoid arthritis are the direct result of intestinal intoxication. Dr Lane says: “I do not believe it is possible for either of these diseases to obtain a foot-hold except in the presence of statis”.

Genito-Urinary and Reproductive Organs

Various displacements, distortion and disease of the uterus, change in the whole forms contour of woman, fibrosis of breast, wasting of breasts, induration of breasts, sub-acute and chronic mastitis, cancer of breast, morritis and endometritis, infection of bladder especially in women, frequency of urination, albumosuria, acute nephritis, movable kidney, floating kidney. Dr Lane goes so far as to say: “Autointoxication plays so large a part in the development of disease in the female genito-urinary apparatus, that they may be regarded by the gynaecologist as a product of intestinal statis”.

General Disorders and Disturbances of Nutrition

Degeneration of the organs of elimination, especially the liver, kidneys (Bright’s Disease) and spleen, pernicious anaemia, lowered resistance to infection of all kind, premature senile decay, retardation of growth in children, accompanied by mental irritability and muscular fatigue, adenoids, enlarged tonsils, scurvy, enlarged thyroid (goitre) various tumours and thyroid, Raynoud’s disease. In those who apparently suffer no harm from constipation during a long series of years there is perhaps, as suggested by Hertz, a partial immunity established. The writer has long believed that such an immunity is sometimes established in the very obstinate constipation which accompanies absolute fasting, because of the cleansing of the tongue and reappearance of appetite which often occurs at the end of the second of third week of the fast, a phenomenon very like that which appears in Typhoid fever and other continued fevers. It must not be supposed, however, that even the establishment of so-called immunity insures the body against all injury. The labour of eliminating an enormous amount of virulent toxins, which falls upon the kidneys, damages the renal tissues and produces premature failure of these essential organs. Any process, which develops toxins within the body, is a menace to the life of the tissues and should be suppressed as far as possible, and as quickly as possible. The fact that symptoms of poisoning (resulting from constipation) do not appear at once is no evidence that injury is not done. Dr William Hunter in the course of the London discussion remarked that the fact that chronic constipation “might exist in certain individuals as an almost permanent condition without apparently causing ill health, is due solely to the power and protective action of the liver. It is not any evidence of the comparative harmlessness of constipation per se, but only as an evidence that some individuals posses the cecum and the colon of an ox, with the liver of a pig, capable of doing any amount of detoxification”.

In the face of such an array of evidence backed up by the authority of nearly 60 eminent English physicians and many hundred of other English, US, German and French physicians whose names might be added, it is no longer possible to ignore the importance of alimentary toxaemia or intoxication as a fact in the production of disease”. To no other single cause is it possible to attribute one-tenth as many various and widely diverse disorders. It may be said that almost every chronic disease known is directly or indirectly due to the influence of bacterial poisons absorbed from the intestine. The colon may be justly looked upon as a veritable Pandora’s box out of which come more human misery and suffering, mental and moral, as well as physical than from any other known source.

When it comes to maintaining good health, the one area that is most overlooked, and is probably the most important, is the subject of detoxification.

This subject is very much misunderstood by many of the medical profession and some natural therapists who dismiss the idea of detoxification on the basis that they believe our bodies naturally detoxify. While this may be true for those i perfect physical condition who eat a diet of raw, organic, toxin free food, for the rest of us it is a bit hard to swallow!

The Origins Of Disease

All disease results from inflammation, or the body being out of balance. It is an immune response designed to get us back in balance. This occurs once the body is overloaded and an emergency intervention is required. It is often caused by excess acidity, or too many toxins being ingested. IN the new millennium, many would be surprised at the level of artificial vitamins and toxins that are present in almost everything we eat, drink and breathe. It is unfortunate and it shouldn’t be that way – but it is!

As we are being bombarded with too many toxins our bodies simply weren’t designed to eliminate efficiently, we need some help to get them out. By removing them before major imbalance occurs, we avoid inflammation and eventually some debilitating disease which results from years of neglect.

How Should We Detoxify?

There are many levels of detox, but the main organ of elimination is the colon. Let’s face it, we evacuate our bowels on a regular basis and usually some smelly foul looking stuff ends up in the toilet. This is full of the toxic waste our digestive system is trying to get out of the body.

The popular myth that you don’t need any help in this area simply doesn’t stack up for most of us. Many in the West only defecate once every 4, 5 or even more days, far longer that the 24 hours cycle food should take to be fully processed. When these toxins are left in the body for an extended period, they get back into the blood stream through a process called autointoxication, causing inflammation and disease. They become hard and stick to the colon walls, causing constriction, discomfort and a general failing of health. Clearly a regular cleansing of this important organ is a good idea for those of us you wish to lead rich lives.

What Kind Of Cleanser?

There are several theories for cleaning the colon. The first is to consume 8-10 glasses of pure water each and every day. You can see in your urine if you are drinking enough, as it gets thick and very yellow when we don’t drink enough water. We suggest you make sure the water you drink is a pure as possible as you don’t want to move large amounts through your body that is full of toxins.

The second aspect is fibre. There are two types, soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. We need both. You can get fiber from bran and many fruits such as apples and bananas. A high fiber diet fills the colon and helps it eliminate more often.

While the above are enough for perfectly healthy people, as stated before, these days hardly anyone falls into that category, especially in the west. We eat too much of the four food devils, sugar, flour, dairy and table salt. All of these contribute to colon problems. Because of this extra assistance in the form of herbs is required. This is where a herbal fiberblend comes in. With a variety of the right herbs, we can repair many of the problems with our colon, and restore our health. Once this happens our nutrition works better, and we start feeling and looking younger again – and that can only be a good thing!

Conclusion

There is a particular blend of herbs and fiber that has been proven for over 20 years. It was developed after years of testing by a leading herbalist who used it to help fight cancer in her husband. The popularity eventually got attention and now the formula is freely available.

Those reading my web sites will know that I am a firm advocate of detoxification as a means to vital health. From reading books by Dr Norman Walker back in the 1970′s, I have done my homework, and nothing has a more positive effect on health and vitality than removing toxins. While colon cleansing is probably the best place to start, if that system isn’t efficient, or if toxicity is simply too high, the next organ to suffer is the liver. Now liver cleansing is very popular after the best seller, “The Liver Cleansing Diet”, made Naturopath, Sandra Cabot, a small fortune. What you may not know is the process by which the liver neutralizes toxins, and what vitamins and minerals are necessary for this to all take place.

My personal interest in this was my Uncle, who died prematurely from Liver disease. The Doctors took a year to diagnose it. Talking to my mother recently, he was a healthy man until he used herbicides to spray blackberries on his hobby farm. It would seem he died from toxic chemicals!

Disease Of The Liver

First, a few facts about diseases relating to the liver. Here are the most common ones.

Hepatitis. Inflammation of the liver, caused mainly by various viruses but also some toxins including alcohol, autoimmunity or hereditary conditions.

Hepatitis A. A contagious and acute liver disease that results from infection with the Hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A is usually spread when a person ingests faecal of an infected person.

Hepatitis B. Infections can range in severity from a mild illness lasting a few weeks, to a serious lifelong illness. Hepatitis B is usually sp[read through infected blood or serum.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can be associated with obesity or diabetes and is characterized by an abundance of fat in the liver. It can lead to Hepatitis and or cirrhosis.

Cirrhosis is the formation of fibrous tissue in the liver from replacing dead liver cells.

Liver Cancer. In most cases, the cause of liver cancer is scarring of the liver (cirrhosis). Cirrhosis may be caused by alcohol abuse, liver autoimmune diseases, long term hepatitis B or C, or hemochromatosis.

Liver Function

The liver is designed to neutralize and eliminate toxins from the body. This function requires certain nutritional components, and if these are not present, or the body is too toxic, the liver breaks down. To avoid liver disease, we are advised to reduce the toxic load on the body, and make sure we have the correct nutrients to facilitate proper operation of this most important organ. The liver can regenerate to a large extent, so it is never too late to make lifestyle changes in this area.

There are tests you can do for the Liver, and these are the criteria for a healthy liver.

Branch Chain Amino Acids For The Liver

These are particularly beneficial for Alcoholic Cirrhosis. Each serving should contain approx 1200mg of Leucine, 600 mg of Isoleucine, and 600mg of Valine. There are studies demonostrating that these branch chain amino acids can enhance protein, synthesis in liver and muscle cells, and help restore liver function.

AIM Propeas Contains

Leucine 1,258 mg

Isoleucine 665 mg

Valine 673 mg

The ratio of these amino acids in Propeas means your liver receives the correct ratios for optimal performance.

Liver Processing

The liver has two stages of enzyme processing. These require certain nutrients, so it is important to consume foods with these substances.

Stage 1 requires folic acid, beta carotene, B vitamins and vitamin C. AIM Barley Life is a good source of these.

Stage 2 requires amino acids cystine, glutamine and glycene. These are all found in AIM Propeas.

An additional item required for stage 2 processing is sulforaphane, The best source of this is Broccoli Sprouts.

An easy way to make sure you liver is receiving optimum nutrition for its important function of neutralizing toxins, is to take a regular serving of AIM Leaf Greens and Pro Peas.

Dealing with pimple is a tough issue for anyone, whether you are a young teenager who has in no way had to deal with the problem before, or an adult that’s still fighting a issue normally reserved for the young. Aside through the emotional implications of having anyone usually focusing on your blemishes, rather than who you are; there is also a lot of discomfort which could result from acne-prone skin color — itching, swelling as well as pain in a lot more extreme cases.

Things that can support:

 * Regular cleaning with a mild soap will greatly aid in dealing with acne. Cleaning the oil and bacteria from the pores on your skin color will help minimize clogging and exfoliate dead pores and skin.

 * Benzoyl Peroxide has been found to be particularly helpful in dealing with acne. It helps to disinfect and oxygenate clogged skin pores. This treatment can cause mild dry skin symptoms for several individuals, as it does strip the bacteria-laden oil in the epidermis surface.

 * Laser procedures are becoming really well-liked, though still much more pricey than over-the-counter treatments. The laser kills surface bacteria, shrinks the oil pores and exfoliates acne breakouts scarred pores and skin.

 * Prescription medications are another alternative. Most will come in the form of pills that cut down the over-production of epidermis oil and effectively dry out your pores. These medications are typically taken until your body stops creating too very much of these bacteria-causing oils.

The Emotional Element

Emotions are most likely the toughest hurdle to overcome when dealing with acne. If we in no way had to look in a mirror, or feel the gaze of others looking at us — acne breakouts would be less of a dilemma for everyone.

Having a positive health and beauty outlook can be quite important. Many people that have suffered via acne breakouts claim it made them a stronger person and even a lot more stunning on the inside. Like any hurdle in life, pimple will not defeat you and for most of us: It will go away with time.

When it comes to the world of iron pumping, there are tons of misconceptions and lies wafting around. Everyone appears to have a different opinion, and so it’s tough to know which advice you can count on. Here we have a look at three very common muscle building legends:

Muscle myth 1: The “muscle pump” you get in the gym affects your muscle gains.

When working out with weights, blood pumps to your muscles and they appear fuller and more vascular. This is often known as a muscle pump, and it feels nice. You look larger, stronger, and more muscly. But the myth about muscle pumps is that they have some bearing on the muscle building process. Those that blindly believe this, aim to get a larger and better pump during their workouts, thinking that their muscles will grow because of it.

The actuality is its nonsense. Your pump has nothing to do with getting larger muscles; it’s just a temporary complication of training with weights. So enjoy your muscle pumps, as they make you feel good, but do not sillily accept that it means anything to your gains.

Muscle myth 2: Performing high reps will give you muscle definition.

Another huge muscle myth is that high reps will make you look more ripped, or defined. I’m sure you’ve seen those guys in the gymnasium who do endless reps of bicep curls, thinking that their arms will look ripped. Or they are doing lots of crunches in order to get a six-pack. It simply doesn’t work that way. To get more muscle definition you need to lower your subcutaneous fat level so that your underlying muscles will be revealed to the world . Doing cardio exercises and eating less calories than you spend will achieve just that.

Muscle parable 3: The more that you workout, the larger and better your gains.

This is a commonplace mistake beginners generally make. They go to the gymnasium day in and day out expecting superb results. But they make minute progress or maybe no progress in any way. At some point, you may realize that you will need to find the correct balance between training and resting. Your muscles need lots of rest to grow, yet a lot of people do not understand that. Over coaching your muscles can even make you lose muscle. Training only 3-4 days each week for an hour or so each session has been proved to be effective for the majority of those wanting to build muscle.
